The Plateau State Governorship Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming March 11, 2023, Gubernatorial election Dr Nentawe Yilwada stated that Nigeria needs Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s Presidential Candidate who has the leadership qualities to bring Christians and Muslims together on a round table to discuss Nigeria success.
Dr Nentawe made the disclosure while delivering his speech at the Plateau state Central APC Gubernatorial Campaign flag-off in Pankshin Local Government Council, the headquarters of Plateau central Senatorial Zone today Wednesday 15th February 2023.
The Governorship hopeful, solicited for his follower’s support to massively vote Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu the APC Presidential candidate in the forthcoming general election as he(Tinubu) has what it takes to make Nigeria a prosperous nation when voted into power.
Furthermore, Dr Nentawe described the APC Presidential candidate as a good man who would propel Nigeria to the path of economic prosperity and sustainable development.
He said Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s effects toward stabilising democracy in Nigeria cannot be overemphasised.
Dr. Nentawe also reveals that the APC Presidential has shown the rich quality of a good leader while serving as Lagos State Governor by his all-inclusive government, drawing people from different ethnic extradition as part of his administration.
On his part, Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State and Director General Tinubu/Shattima Presidential campaign Organisation expresses confidence that the party’s Presidential candidate will emerge winner of the February 25th Presidential election.
Gov. Lalong also described Bola Tinubu, as the best man to sail Nigeria to a glorious destination, and called on citizens of the state to come out and vote massively for the Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming polls.
Deputy Speaker of the Federal house of representatives Idris Maje said despite the numerous challenges in the state, Lalong has done well in peacebuilding and infrastructural development and called on the people of the state to vote massively for Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.
The lawmaker representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam, in the Federal house of representatives Hon Yusuf Gagdi who also spoke at the occasion said that the people of Plateau would vote for the candidates of the party at all levels in the forthcoming general elections..
The lawmaker maintained that the party had achieved a lot for the people of the state and county in general, adding that people would vote for the party to consolidate the achievements.
”The APC-led government at both state and national levels have done well for the people and I have no doubt our people in Plateau will vote for the party from top to bottom.
Speaking earlier the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC In Plateau Hon Rufus Bature, said the party is set for victory at the polls.
Bature who cautioned members against anti-party said “We have the confidence that we will win the 2023 elections, from the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship and the Presidency, we will deliver.
The Director General of the Generation Next campaign team, Sabastian Maimako added that Dr Nentawe is a good candidate that would revamp major sectors of the state if given the opportunity.
He appealed to the people of the state to continue to support the APC at all times.
