Dachung Musa Bagos has demanded immediate declaration of the Plateau North Senatorial Election result and also that of Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency of the State.Bagos while Speaking with Journalists in Jos describe as unfortunate the delay on the part of INEC in not announcing the Senatorial and Reps Seat Results which has caused serious tension in Plateau State.It would be recalled that thugs had even invaded the Jos North Government Area of Plateau state, the venue of the Collation center for Presidential and National Assembly elections in the Northern Senatorial district of the state, and disrupted the Processing.The delay in the announcement of the Senatorial and House of Representatives Seat is a result of the disruption of the collation center.”election was conducted Peacefully and why the delay in the announcement of the result””I am calling on INEC to adhere strictly to the electoral Law and shouldn’t do anything that will disrupt the Peace in the Plateau North, we are Peaceful People in Plateau Northern Senatorial Zone, and we want to give INEC the next 24 thousand and we expect INEC to announced the results to avoid the tension in the entire Plateau.Bagos expressed sadness that INEC instead of following the rule of law to announce the result which has been collated from Various wards keep delaying, saying the refusal of the INEC to do the right thing has created tension in Jos, the State Capital.According to him, the security agencies should take necessary action, especially on Jos North Collation Centre which has always been a threat to the Peace-loving Citizens.”INEC should understand the peculiarity of Plateau North and shouldn’t create tension, it happened in 2019, and now 2023″.
