The time for the driver to have a clear-cut focus of what is ahead has come. This is the time where with his well articulated vision for Plateau State under the ACEES agenda, an acronym for Agriculture, Critical Infrastructure, Economic Development, gender and youth empowerment, Education and Security offers for the driver to take Plateau State to .
For him to have a firm grip on the levers of what it takes to develop Plateau State, he needed to come prepared to be able to handle the various challenges of governance.
Those who have followed him even before his emergence as the flag bearer of the ruling party in the state, certainly know that the preparation for the number one seat is a combination of things he has always believed would one day help fastrack his emergence as Governor of Plateau.
No wonder, while conscious of what he is able to offer, it is common place that he went about consulting those that matter and even those often considered the dregs of the society on what is need to return Plateau to the A-League.
He believes and knew that it was possible to make Plateau State rise from the ashes of the past, and reclaim its lost glory. Such an endeavour, though possible, could be done holistically with a document written from the experience of the people: who desire a future for the state.
The product of his countless consultations with a broad spectrum of people, communities, students, artisans, traditional institutions, religious and several professional bodies gave birth to the ACEES Document which will form the cornerstone of his administration when elected on 18th March,2023.
Regarded as the people's blueprint, ACEES is, by far, what Plateau needs. It has a holistic approach to what the state has missed, and if implemented, Plateau State would be on the clear path of recovery.
As a man whose proclivity to excellence knows no bounds and bias, it is understood why he is patriotically inclined to executing the spirit and letter of the agenda when he comes to power on March 29th May, 2023.
The ACEES agenda is the basis of the manifesto of the Generation Next represented by Dr. Nentawe/Bot Mang gubernatorial campaign. It is interesting that the manifesto became a public document as soon as Nentawe entered the fray for the number one seat of Plateau State.
Ruling Plateau State in this age cannot be taken for granted. There are a number of challenges, which, if not attended to by knowing their roots, we shall continue to work in cycle which has been our bane over the years.
Those who have gone through or have had the opportunity of being explained to during his numerous strategic engagements with the people, communities and professional bodies in the 17 local governments, it is clear that there is hope for the state if ACEES is implemented to the letter which we are convinced he will.
Being the social contract with the people for a secured, united and prosperous Plateau, it was not hidden, but released; so that the state and its people would be acquainted with what he has to offer to Plateau State.
It is a known fact the high level of preparedness of Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and his deputy, Hon Pam Bot Mang in governing Plateau State and make it the envy of all, when they are sworn in come May 29, 2023 is not in dispute.
Signed:
Shittu Bamaiyi
Spokesman
Generation Next Campaign.
