The Executive Chairmen of Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau State, Hon. Gideon D. Dandareng has describe their coming back as a victory for democracy.
Hon. Dandareng disclosed this to the publishers of News Parrot Newspaper and Online Hon. Daniel Kura, National Rescue Mr Philip Zhattau, and Mr Bok Daniels the Publisher of New Horizon Magazine.
Hon. Dandareng in his disclosure stated that the press release by the Plateau NULGE is very surprising, he said because by the definition of the Nigeria constitution and the labour act stated that there are process to declare a strike, but as you can see this one is purely politically motivated.
Furthermore, he disclosed that he is not a member of NULGE but he is the Executive Chairmen of Jos South Local Government Council, And they as the duly elected Local Government Council officials respect the constitution of the country and they are law abiding people and they follow what the constitution and the law said and that is why we are here today.
Hon. Dandareng also used the opportunity to appreciate the effort of the Inspector General of Police, Plateau State Commissioner of Police, the Area Commanders and the DPOs and finally the Media organization whom never got entice by the things of the world , but always stand for the truth and never allow themselves to do the wrong thing.
Hon. Dandareng also speaking on the his feeling over the call by the Commissioner of Police for the elected Local Government Council officials to come back to office, stated that this is a victory for democracy, he said they are not doing this because of themselves but they are doing it because of the generation yet unborn.
He said, the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria must be respected.
Hon. Dandareng also spoke on his mandate as the Executive Chairmen of Jos South Local Government, and what the people should continue expect from him, as Jos South Council Boss, he said that they did not come to the council by mistake but they have plan for their people, an agenda that they want to deliver to the people of Jos South Local Government Council.
