The Plateau North Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the ordered rerun, Amb (Dr) Chris Musa Giwa extends his sincere felicitations to the Berom nation on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Wusal Berom which is an annual gathering of the Berom nation to offer prayers to God Almighty; seek for his sustained protection and invisible hands over the Berom nation.
In his goodwill message, Giwa acknowledged the grace and favour of God Almighty on the Berom nation which explains why despite temporary challenges, they continue to wax stronger, remained united, focused, and a shining star of the Plateau heritage.
“Despite the challenges our people encounter daily, their remarkable patriotism, commitment, and contributions to the peace, progress, and development of Plateau State in particular and Nigeria as a whole is admirable”, He said.
He encouraged the Berom nation not to despair but remain steadfast in prayers to God Almighty for peace, and development of the land. Also, he expressed optimism that God shall raise sincere and just leaders in the mould of the biblical Nehemiah to rekindle the hope of the Berom nation and rebuild the broken walls of the people.
He expressed gratitude to the Berom Language and Translation Board (BLTB) and other socio cultural groups in Berom land for their untiring efforts and tremendous contributions towards the promotion of the Berom culture.
Also, he solicits for prayers as the ordered rerun inches closer so that it will be peaceful and God’s guidance to the electorates to eschew sentiments and vote right.
