The Spokesman of the Sen General Jeremiah T Useni PDP group in Plateau State Hon Emmanuel Macham has threatened to crippled the party with 10 fresh legal suit if few Stakeholders of the party continue to disrespect the leaders including Sir Fidelis Tapgun a former Governor of Plateau State and PDP Board of Trustees Member, he said the continues disrespect to Hon Bitrus Kaze and several others.
Emma Macham who spoke via telephone conversation said his group is battle ready to protect it’s PDP members within the ambit of law declaring the exercise as “operation YAJI”
They’re never our mates in this political game nor possess any political credentials to warrant intimidation.
He said again recently PDP Stakeholders at the Northern Zonal level apparently working on a script decided to head into fresh crises by orchestrating punitive steps and actions on perceived opponents after the Appeal court concluded their seatings in Abuja.
They went on this voyage after the brazen refusal of the party to pay several fines hanging on the party from various courts across Plateau State including a 10million naira fine slammed on it as costs by His Lordship Justice Kunda during the formation of Party Structure in Jos North in 2020 and the 2million naira fine in respect to PDP sect Aspirants still unpaid till date.
Trouble started during the northern zone stakeholders meeting when one Pam Sale stood up in the meeting which held at the Atiku/Okowa Secretariat Junction Campaign office on 30th,Nov 2023 to call on the expulsion of “intruders”from the meeting. The said Pam claimed to have seen some persons from his acclaimed Jos North in the meeting venue asking the conveners to walkout the intruders.
The situation nearly degenerated into chaos when Mr Chris Hassan stood up in defense of the motion raised by Mr Pam Sale who is alleged to be blind promising to instill discipline in the party. To further his point,he said the same fate had befallen Hon Kaze in an earlier held SEC meeting. It is curious how Mr Pam Sale who is said to be blind located Zang in the crowd if not for the purpose of executing a classically pre-planned action or sets of actions and agenda.
The maturity exhibited by Chief Aminu Zang helped in no small measure in calming frayed nerves and tempers as several stakeholders and party faithfuls were left in bewilderment with some leaving along with him as he left boycotting the meeting.
We are not even ready for any political discussion with the other group at the moment and we have written several letters to the national headquarters notifying them of our preparedness for actions anytime we choose provided the National headquarters refuse to toy the lane of constitutionality.
Clearly any attempt towards intimidating our members and subjugating their hard earned rights will be resisted and blown into legal battle
This sponsored action by the Pam Sale and some miscreants across several wards in Plateau State now and before was not the first but MUST be the last regardless of the infirmities.
We are in possession of truth, equity and Justice and we can’t be intimated by anybody or group of persons.
Our members should go about their lawful actions towards reorganizing our party to being a strong, virile and veritable pillar for the common good of the ordinary Plateau people Macham said.
