The Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC has send a stern warning to Ishaya Iste to steer clear of the party
The party in a statement made available to this medium and was signed by Hon. Sylvanus Namang, APC State Publicity Secretary stated that Itse who has consistently been trying to undermine the APC in Plateau State by claiming to be a factional Chairman.The Party has for too long tolerated the bogus and unrealistic claims by this impostor whose machinations have assumed an intolerable level which the Party seriously frowns at.
To put the records straight, there is no trace of faction of any sort in the Plateau state chapter of the APC in contrary to Itse’s mischievous claim..The puppet, called Ishaya Itse, based on his unruly behaviour and anti- party activities had since been expelled from the party over a year ago. This was as a result of a written complaint about his anti party records from his ward and the Jos North Local Government exco of the party. After following due process, the State Executive Committee, in line with our great party’s constitution, ratified his expulsion.
It may also interest members of the public to know that the same Ishaya Itse who was instigated to sue the party by some disgruntled politicians based in Abuja who are jumping from one office to the other lobbying again as they did before former Governor Simon Bako Lalong’s appointment, for the about to be vacant ministerial position for the state are at it again.
The case he instituted against the party in 2021 has since been dismissed by a Plateau State High Court and the Court of Appeal in Jos as incompetent. He is presently struggling to reopen the case but has hit brick walls as he is not getting the cooperation of those he deceived into joining him in the purported case against the party.
Ishaya Itse whose activities have been ignored for too long has turned his dubious claims as factional Chairman into a lucrative business where he feeds fat on them.
We are aware of the huge amounts he had made from his instigators in Abuja and how he had tried to blackmail some key and reputable loyal stakeholders of the party to extract funds from them to ostensibly withdraw his case against the Party which had been severally rebuffed.
The drowning PDP in the State in collaboration with the aforementioned disgruntled politicians who claim to have worked for President Tinubu’s victory but who openly worked against the party’s candidates in the state, have suddenly found Itse a worthy ally who exploits their gullibility to collect sums of money for fruitless litigations.
Those giving Itse money for this vain project should better know that they are simply wasting their time and resources. We challenge Itse to tell us where his congress held and the certificate of return given to him and by who.
For the umpteenth time we want to emphasise that a duly recognised congress was held at Crest Hotel in Jos in October 2021 which was duly witnessed by INEC and security agents operating in the state.
The authentic State Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature and all members of the state executive committee, duly bought forms and have their certificates of return. This can be confirmed by whoever cares from the National Secretariat of our great the party.
It is no longer hidden how the PDP in Plateau State has been strenuously attempting to pain an imaginary picture of crisis in the APC following the messy situation it has found itself over lack of structure.
We advise these different forces to stop wasting their time as the APC in Plateau State should not be distracted as it awaits the inauguration of the Governor – elect, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda in a few weeks ahead, based on the favourable court cases it has so far won as a result of the irretrievable self – inflicted mess by the PDP.
We is confident of winning the gubernatorial seat at the Supreme Court going by the Court of Appeal rulings which are based on the PDP’s Illusive structure.
While the APC is going to run a fair, just and all inclusive government, we advise the PDP to keep sobering over its own woes and leave the APC out of it.
It has lost all its members in the National Assembly to the APC which now has two Senators with one rerun being awaited, five Members of the Federal House Representatives with one rerun underway and 22 members out of 24 members of the Plateau State House of Assembly.
Finally, Ishaya Itse who has availed himself as a willing tool by our traducers should perish the thought of creating a faction in the party as it is an attempt in futility. He has no locus standi to “warn” His Excellency, Simon Lalong, Hon. Yusufu Gagdi and Hon. Festus Fuanter on any issue.
