The Chairman All Progressive Congress APC in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, Hon. Danjuma Mabas has condemned in it’s totality the Christmas eve wonton killings and destruction of properties in Bokkos and Barkin Ladi, Local Government Council of the State.
The Chairman in a statement made available to Media men and was signed by his media aid Dabang Dashe and called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang NSA, Minister of Defense, Chief of Defense Staff and all the Nation Security head to as a matter of urgency deploy security apparatus to the affected area in other to fetch out the perpetrator of heinous act to face the full wrought of the law.
He call on the Federal and State Governments to set up a committee that will come up with a workable compensation plan to all the affected families.
Hon. Mabas recalled the statement of the Minister of State for Defense HE Hon. Bello Matawalle where he said ” the Nigeria military are now going after the bandit in Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna and some part of the country, which is yeilding a positive results should be replicated here on the Plateau.
Furthermore, the APC Chairman call on the youths of the affected areas to stay calm and give the security the maximum co-operation to restore back peace within the affected areas he said.
