I felicitate with Nigerians from all walks of life for the successful cross over and entry into 2024; a year I have firm conviction will be a turning point for us as a nation.
The preceding year was quite challenging, yet our faith and belief in the Nigerian project was unwavering, and resolute.
Here at home, the enemies of Plateau persisted with their evil machinations, cutting short the lives of the innocent and causing unimaginable pains to many households. I extend my sincere condolences to all those who were affected by the various attacks which took place.
I see hope for our people this year. God promise of hope in times of despair, strength in times of weakness, and recovery after tragedies remain evergreen and should be our comfort. As believers, we should hold dear his word that he will never forsake us in times of trouble.
I beseech us to remain commited to the ideals of this great nation, continue to be patriotic and above all, as children of God, we should dedicate ourselves to peace building, and promotion of unity and love at all times.
As Plateau North heads for the rerun next month, I urge us to commit the election to prayers for God’s guidance and for a peaceful process
