At the resumption of the pre-hearing session which started Monday, April 15th, the National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal chaired by justice Cordelia Ogadi today commenced proceedings with the hearing of applications at the Bauchi State High Court Complex.

SA Media to Senator Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang stated that
the petition filed by Chris Giwa and APC against Senator Mwadkon Dachungyang was heard and all the intellecutory applications were heard and ruling was reserved till the final judgement based on relevant sections of the law. The petition was therefore adjourned to 22 April, 2024 for report of the pre-hearing session and adjourned to May 9th, 2024 for hearing to commence.
In similar vein, the petition filed by Muhammad Shafi’u and NNPP against Senator Mwadkon Dachungyang was also heard and all the intellecutory applications were heard and ruling was reserved till the final determination of the case, in other words, at judgement stage. The petition was thereafter adjourned to April 24th, 2024 for report of pre-hearing session and was adjourned to May 27th, 2024 for hearing.
It has to be noted also that the petition of Adamu Alkali and PRP against Daniel Asama and labour party was also entertained.
