Member-elect, Mikang Constituency of Plateau State, Hon Naanlong Gapyil Daniel has paid glowing tributes to the immediate past Plateau State Governor and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial Zone, Rt Hon, Dr Simon Bako Lalong for his courage and for always in standing for the truth, Justice and fairness, as he mark his sixty first years of birth.
Naanlong in a message of goodwill to Senator Lalong, described him as a great leader of impeccable credentials, as a parliamentarian, administrator and a politician of repute.
He said Senator Lalong has displayed pragmatic leadership with selflessness and dedication by rendering quality service to the people of the state and the nation, been one of the most decorated public officers in the country, having served as the Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Governor, Chairman of Northern Governors Forum and the Director General Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organization.
” On behalf of my family, friends , political associates and indeed the good and hospital people of Mikang Local Government Area , I congratulate Senator Lalong on his sixty first birthday anniversary” He said.
He explained that Senator Lalong inputted much in the growth and development of Plateau during his stewardship of the state, and described him as a visionary leader, with noticeable imprints in different area of the polity.
” His penchant for diligence and humility has contributed immensely towards the development of Nigeria’s socio-economic and political landscape.
“On this auspicious occasion , I wish our leader wisdom in health, as he continue to render more services to our dear country”. Naanlong said.
