The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong today marked his 61th birthday with a thanksgiving mass at the Church of Assumption Asokoro Abuja.

Special Adviser (Media) to Senator Simon Bako Lalong, Plateau South Senatorial District stated that Lalong who joined other worshipers for the early morning mass expressed thanksgiving to God for his mercies upon him and for the support he has continued to enjoy from his family, friends and associates.
He appreciated the Church for also praying for him and said he decided to mark the event with thanksgiving in the church because of his acknowledgement that God remains his only strength and source.
The officiating Priest prayed for him and admonished him to continue to work towards serving God and humanity.
Speaking after the mass, Senator Lalong appreciated his friends, associates and Nigerians particularly his constituents for sending him goodwill messages as well as calling to felicitate with him on this occasion.
He promised to continue to dedicate his life to serving humanity and fulfilling God’s purpose for his life.
