The Honourable Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Plateau State, Hon. Ephraim Usman has rated the Local Government Administration under the Government and leadership of Gov. Caleb Manaseh Mutfwang 70%.
Hon. Usman made the rating while featuring as a guest in a program Grassroots Governance Engagement organize by Plateau Radio and Television Cooperation PRTVC anchored by Kenzy Ngopar and was monitored by News Parrot Online yesterday 20th May, 2024
Hon. Usman also correct the speculation that some Governors are interfering with the Local Government Administration most especially when it comes to the issues of funds.
The Commissioner stated that to the best of his knowledge he have never experienced interference in the administration by Governor Caleb Manaseh Mutfwang maybe is because the Governor is a God fearing man.
Furthermore, Hon. Usman disclosed that, at the time they went for familiarization tour of the 17 local government council of the state, he was never disappointed because of the great performance of the LG Bosses he said.
He said in Mikang, the Chairman is constructing a very big Hotel edifice, in Shendam Dr. Kemi is also doing well, in Quaanpan, Langtang North, Langtang South the Chairmen are doing well, and in Wase the Chairman has brought in Radio and Television station which by the grace of God is going to compete favourably with the state own station. And all these are statement of facts that within the shortage period of time these Chairmen are in the office they achieve so far.
Hon. Usman also said when you come to Central and Northern part of the state the story is also the same.
So what do you think will happen by the time the government of Governor Mutfwang is four year he ask?
Hon. Usman in his further disclosure stated that this is a testament that His Excellency Governor Caleb Manaseh Mutfwang is doing greatly well, by allowing the Local Government function and operate on their own knowingly well that local government is directly involved with the community and the people at the grassroot.
