The Plateau State chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC, has applauded Senator Simon Lalong, Sen. Joshua Dariye and other senior supporters over the forthcoming October 9, 2024 Local Government Council Election in the State.
A statement made available to Newsmen and was signed by Shittu Bamaiyi Acting Publicity Secretary stated that the APC in Plateau State is amazed by the overwhelming support and assistance given by it’s senior supporters towards the forthcoming local government elections.
He said, the Party is impressed and elated by the financial support received from its members of the National Assembly,the State House of Assembly and the former governorship candidate of the party, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.
Furthermore, Hon. Bamaiyi also revealed that the heavy financial assistance given to the Party’s Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates is not only encouraging but reassuring on level of its preparedness towards the forthcoming local government elections in the State.
He said, accordingly the party considers the development as a testimony of unity, solidarity and also the sign of victory that awaits the APC at the polls.
The Party’s leadership is profoundly grateful to the leader of the Party in the State, Senator Simon Lalong, Senator Joshua Dariye, Senator Diket Plang, former Deputy Speaker of the House Representatives Rt.Hon .Idris Ahmed Maje, Hon.Dr Yusuf Adamu Gagdi and Hon.John Dafaan.
It also commended the Deputy National Secretary of the Party Barrister Festus Fantur for handsomely supporting the party’s candidates in across the State.
Undoubtedly the spirited assistance displayed by the senior supporters of the Party, is not only instructive but indicative of the fact that the APC is ‘good to go’ for the local government elections and it read as follows:
