Sylvanus Namang APC State Publicity Secretary stated that
indicators are clearly pointing to the direction of a resounding defeat of this family and clannish party whose hope is based on what its ''Dara'' sole administrator says.
We are not unaware that the PDP in the state would re- enact its tripod feud and vent its anger on its singlehandedly imposed candidate who the retired General and former Senator and a former Governor of the state from the southern zone and a former Minister of Sports and a two -term Member of the Federal House of Representatives from the Northern zone would not touch with a ten meter pole.
Now that the Wazirin Adamawa , the sole financier of the PDP in the state came a disappointingly third dismal position in the February 25th election, the woes of the party in the state has increased as the Atiku disciples led by the octogenarian former Ambassador to Switzerland would choose to watch on the sidelines as their only reason for being in the PDP is beceause of the now thourouhly defeated and disgraced serial presidential contestant.
The advent of the obedient movement whose gubernatorial candidate is still basking in the euphoria of Peter Obi's victory in the state, occasioned by a combined force of religiosity and emotional trajectory, has added to the woes of the PDP in Plateau state.
That inspite of the combined forces against the APC during the last election, the party maintained its unanimity of purpose.
The APC in election years in Plateau State, from 2015 and 2019 had been stereotyped, negatively labelled and called all sorts of names, yet if won on both occasions.
Not minding the self- harm the APC caused for itself during the last Presidential election where we lost vital National Assembly seats, the gubernatorial election would be won by its gubernatorial candidate who is more than prepared for the the governance of Plateau state than any of the other candidates who want to play the predatory role of capitalising on emotions and blackmail.
Thank God for the very enlightened Plateau electorate who know where they will place their votes devoid of sentiments.
The duo of Dr Nentawe Yilwatda and Hon. Pam Bot Mang remain the most credible and dependable choice for Plateau state.
The decadent PDP in the state is living in the past. Its clannish and autocratic bend of leadership will be demystified at the Saturday gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections where the role call of the APC candidates is simply awesome and intimidating when weighed against the scale of the contraption of family, friends and protogee candidates in the PDP.
The PDP in the state should be prepared to accept defeat on Saturday as it is only trying to be wiser by half by its preemptive press release that it is going to win the coveted gubernatorial seat and more House of Assembly seats in the state.
This is a grand delusion from a party totally enmeshed in self contradictions and grand deception.
For those who are old enough to know what Plateau state passed through during the Second Republic from 1979 and 1983, no sane politician or true lover of Plateau state would want the state to willingly vote to be in the opposition moerso in a state whose 80% reliance is on the federation account.
The APC has a President- elect in its kitty and Plateau state cannot sacrifice this great feat on the alter of emotions and base sentiments.
We must vote wisely and vote the duo of Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe and Hon. Pam Bot Mang for a secured, united, prosperous and progressive Plateau state.
