The Executive Secretary of the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Hon. Dauyabu Dauda has described the judgement of the Supreme Court panel that affirmed the election victory of the Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang as a sound one that would further deepen the country’s electoral laws and judicial jurisprudence.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by Dauyabu Dauda himself on behalf of the Chairman and board members, the executive Secretary said the judgement had finally Vindicated Governor Mutfwang and all PDP candidates whose elections were truncated by the appeal Court as it has laid to rest the pernicious Propaganda of the All Progressive Congress (APC) which further reaffirm that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)on the Plateau has a valid Structure.
Dauyabu Dauda, who hailed the landmark Judgment as a Triumph for Democracy said the validation of Governor Mutfwang’s Victory by the Supreme Court has raised the hope for the Plateau People who are yearning for Peace, Unity and Development which is already seen within a short period of time with Mutfwang as Governor of Plateau State.
According to Dauda, every true lover of democracy must commend the resilience of the judiciary in deepening the country’s democracy through its sound judgments.
“The Supreme Court Judgements has put to an end the needless bickering, distractions and litigation that greeted the 2023 Governorship election and It is my hope that the opposition will team up with our Governor to move Nigeria forward in the overall interest of the country.”
While praying for God to grant Governor Mutfwang wisdom and Grace to continue the good works he has stated, Dauyabu Dauda, assured the Governor of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board total support as he raised the level of governance to a higher pedestal on the Plateau.
