The First Samaritan Love Foundation (FISALOF) publishers of the security and Peace magazine has finalized preparation to host the 2024 edition of its annual magazine publication launch and Awards ceremony. This year’s edition billed to take place on June 28th 2024 promises to be bigger and better, the event is dedicated to celebrate the patriotism and sacrifice of men and institutions dedicated towards the protection of lives and property of Nigerians as well as defending Nigeria’s territorial sovereignty.
The peace and security magazine features editorials and articles that will tell the stories of strides and challenges facing Nigeria’s security Agencies and the mitigating strategies adopted to surmount such challenges, the organizers of this initiative believe that a night of glits and glamour in honour of the bravery and Valor of men and officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria will bolster the morale of men and officers at the front lines in Nigeria’s war against insecurity, while awakening the patriotism and gratitude of the civilian population who are the beneficiaries of this great sacrifice.
This year’s magazine launch and Awards ceremony shall have in attendance some of the biggest personalities in Nigeria’s security landscape who have assured of their commitment towards breaching the gap between the “protector” and the “protected” by participating earnestly in community development initiatives as part of their commitment towards NON KINETIC approach to ensuring peace and security as well as law and order. Invitation has also been extended to top political actors who have distinguished themselves through promulgation of policies and Advocacies that support the protection of human rights & dignity as well as safety & protection of lives and property. The ceremony shall include a Magazine launch, awards presentation, panel discussion session, cultural dance and music performances by top and upcoming entertainers.
The organizers and their partners are full of optimism towards the event as all hands are on deck to deliver a glamorous ceremony to be hosted in the beautiful city of Jos, the capital of Plateau State. According to them several requests for partnerships has been received and more are expected in the coming weeks as the event shall present an opportunity for brands to showcase their products and services to the attendees who in this instance are the Crème de la crème’ of Nigeria. The organizers reiterated that the last edition was a great success and they will leverage on the experiences of that edition to improve on the 2024 edition.
